Thanks Darla, Pamme and Sayeh. Darla is a professional portrait artist, so great to get her thoughts. The one on the right does pop more and I like the personality of Chloe on the right a bit more, too. I felt that the one on the left was a bit more "picture book" like Pamme who has tons of experience in that from her PR years at Barnes & Noble. I think the key is to meld them somehow. Make the lines darker on the left and the colors brighter. What do you all think? Thanks so much for your thoughts. It's very appreciated!
I like them both, but graphically, I guess I like the one on the right - it has more impact.

ReplyDeleteLet me try again minus the original typo!
ReplyDeleteThe one on the right has more 'pop' to it but the one on the left has a lovely feel to it.
Your version on the right is pretty busy too and I feel like CP gets a bit lost in the imagery. She seems more of a focus in the image on the left.
If I had to choose one -- it would be the image on the left. CP really stands out in it.
i like the one on the right!

ReplyDeleteWhat do I know? I like them both, but consensus has it for the one on the right. They're too cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks TCC. Work in progress...as you know.
ReplyDeleteLove the one on to, it's slightly muted but I really like it. I think it has a cleaner line to it.
